  1.                           Welcome to RGB-TechWriter!

  3. This disk should contain at least 25 files, including the one you are reading
  4. now.  The main program is TW.EXE.  The instructions for installing and using
  5. this program on your computer are contained in the "Installation and User's
  6. Guide", which is provided in the files GUIDE1 through GUIDE7.  Section 7 of the
  7. Guide is provided in its original TechWriter format as GUIDE7.TWF.  This file
  8. can be used as a test of your printer configuration.  The remaining files on
  9. the diskette are printer data files, one of which you can select for use by
  10. RGB-TechWriter.

  12. You can read the documentation directly on your display screen by typing the
  13. following in response to the DOS prompt:
  14.                                   TYPE GUIDE1
  15.  
  16. Repeat this for each of the GUIDE files.  You will probably want to make a
  17. printed copy of the first six sections of the User's Guide by typing:
  18.                                 COPY GUIDE? PRN
  19.  
  20. Start with the printhead at the top edge of the paper and set your printer for
  21. 10 characters per inch.  See the file LASERJET.BAS if you have an HP LaserJet
  22. printer.  The critical information necessary to initially install the program
  23. is in the file GUIDE2, the table of contents is in GUIDE1.
